#RED dresses in honor of World AIDS Day

This past Monday, December 1st, aka yesterday, was World AIDS Day. I decided to wear famous #RED gowns from film and pop culture to show my support. You can check them out on twitter @cherry_blonde, or you can wait for me to post them on here during the course of the month. Can you guess the wearers?

The main themes for WAD 2014 is "Getting To Zero" and "Closing The Gap". Both themes support the idea of being informed; about AIDS, and your own status which can bring us to the ideal of no new infections and no separation amoungst people.

Anyway, so December is by far the reddest month of the year. Apart from Christmas, the whole month is internationally World AIDS Awareness Month. Do your bit to inform and get informed this month and show your support any way you can..x

Cape Town Fashion Council - Annual General Meeting

So, last Thursday, the 28th of November, was the fashion council's AGM held at Cape Town's lovely Fire and Ice hotel. Anyway, all the numbers that had to go up went up and all the numbers that we hoped would go down went downer. Nice job council!

Speakers were Ian Stein, Bryan Ramkilawan and Nick Soper. Mr Soper told us about his exciting new online retail site andthreads.co.za. Make sure to check it out.

Anyway fashion council, let's have wine again soon..x
